The dyeing is done by hand. We use different plants, leaves, bark or fruit, where each contributes its color. The colors obtained from plants are preceded by the prefix TNT. Those without this prefix are stained with mineral dyes.
In both cases, the colors are obtained by cooking, and the fixing and durability of these is achieved by adding mineral salts.
After the dyeing, we continue with rinsing, drying and braiding. And finally we proceed with the ironing, which consists in affirming and sliding onto the tissue with the corrugated bottom of a bottle to make it smooth and shiny.
